Interview With Sethuran Velnayagam – Owner of Banners Mall
Around two years ago I launched a web development website and was starting in the world of Internet marketing. After a short search it seemed clear that Banners Mall was the number one firm to use when it comes to banner design. I have personally spent over $1000.00 with Banners Mall and have never had a bad experience with them, perfection is as standard!
In a brief email with Sethuran, he told me more about his company:
Tell us about Banners Mall:
I established the “Banners Mall” in May 2003. Later, Chris Hevoyan joined as my partner in the beginning of 2004. Within three years we have worked with over 3,500 clients. Our main priority is to satisfy our customers by ensuring that their needs are met in a timely manner and to develop a prestigious reputation, which puts us apart from the rest.
How did you start off on the Internet?
Realizing the need for a professional banner ad design company on the net, “Banners Mall” is aimed for the purpose of providing an affordable pricing, with professional designs, and a swift design delivery to bring our customers unparalleled value. Since the beginning, our company has worked on a personal basis with each individual client to bring about the best possible results. I would say that this the most important reason behind our massive reputation.
What was your first project?
It was for a Hosting firm.
What advice do you have for someone who is starting web design/ web development?
My best advice is to concentrate on the customer service. A successful business must be customer oriented and prepared to bend over backward to meet the customer’s needs and requirements. Also, promoting yourself is important to get more business. This past winter, we had some growing pains. With too few designers and a bad CRM, our turnaround time sometimes suffered and our communication was not great. But we have fixed these problems—hired more designers, perfected our policies—and now, we can see a lot of differences through our customer feedback and the increase of sales. Try to compete with the quality, not just prices. Many customers are willing to pay for quality services or products.
What would you do differently?
As I said before our company works on a personal basis with each individual client to bring about the best possible result. This is clearly seen through our reputations.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I choose to spend my spare time with my family and friends.
What are your current Projects?
We are currently working on few interesting projects which will be launched in the coming months.
