Great interview, free services will always do better than the preexisting payed services. He gave great advice about staying focused even if you face set backs, you should always keep trying.

Someone I went to school with became quite successful by creating a free version of a popular service that was largely a paid service at the time. There are likely many other similar opportunities where it is possible to offer a free version of something.
